For most people, getting in front of the camera fully clothed is scary enough, but Sunday, Dawn got harnessed up and restrained for bondage boudoir. The results: highly erotic boudoir images. She wasn't alone, though. Photos like this require a person to be extremely vulnerable and I respect that. When people come to the studio for any kind of photos, they are taking some degree of risk and my first priority is to make sure that if they are out on a limb, that they aren't out on that limb by themselves.
This was my introduction to a "spreader bar". Dawn gave me a brief tutorial. It's a metal bar with attachments for bondage cuffs at each end, which are fastened to wrists, ankles or knees to hold them apart. Hers had little padlocks with a key. This is the first shoot I've done where the model was depending on me to lock and unlock them from the pose. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't awkward AT ALL.
Some shots take way longer to set up than they do to shoot, but it was fun because the whole time we were setting up, there was conversation and laughing and lots of cutting up.
If you are interested in booking a boudoir or bondage boudoir session click here or go to the booking page and select the "Individual Photo Session" option. A full photo session lasts about an hour and includes three different looks. After your session, we'll schedule a follow up for you to return to the studio to view and pick out your pictures and we'll work together to create a custom package that fits exactly what you need. Your photos can remain private for your eyes only if you prefer. With intimate sessions like this, I will only post the photos with your permission.
I'm so pleased with the response from last Sunday that I'm running another Bondage Boudoir Mini Session special next month. Full sessions can be scheduled any time but mini sessions are available on one set date. Mini sessions are typically short and involve several poses in one outfit on one back drop. The advantage to the mini session is the price. Bondage Boudoir mini sessions include 5 prints in a black gift box. I pick the 5 that I think are best so there's no need to return to the studio for a follow up "ordering session" although if it's important to you to see them ALL and pick them out yourself, we can schedule that.
The last thing we did at Dawn's session was a shibari. Shibari is a decorative version of Japanese bondage. I spent some time carefully lacing up Dawn's body with black rope so those photos and the back story will be up later this week!
