Planning most photo sessions can be done in person or over the phone and can be done before or after you book it. A short planning session can be a good way for us to get acquainted, talk about ideas, and help you get a mental picture of what your shoot will be like.
Print packages start at $225 and digital packages start at $200. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is due at the time of booking to secure your appointment time and serve as a cancellation fee. The deposit is applied to your package purchase. All portrait packages are customized after your photo session at an in person "reveal" appointment in the studio. At your photo session, we will shoot a variety of poses and looks to give you options to choose from.
Digital images will be available within 7 days of placing your order and print products usually arrive within 3 weeks.
After careful consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision that Rachael Fern Photography will remain closed over the winter. This was an especially tough choice to make as we come up on what is ordinarily such a fun season with Fall sessions, Christmas minis, and my personal favorite, Holiday Boudoir, however, this is no ordinary year.
Like most folks, for the past 7 months, I kept thinking that things might be “back to normal” in a few more weeks. I put off making long terms plans because it’s been so unclear for so long what’s around the corner. I don’t know what the future holds but I do know that this time of uncertainty will not last forever. I know that nothing is more important than our health and safety. I am very fortunate in that I have the luxury to be patient and to wait until reopening is truly safe for all my clients and for myself.
This holiday season, I will instead be focusing my resources on fighting the rapidly growing eviction crisis here in Forsyth County with Housing Justice Now. As winter approaches, there are many ways we can help our neighbors and I will share those opportunities I find them.
